Once your messaging guide is finalized, we translate your brand's verbal identity into a visual identity. This includes your logo, color palette, and typography, the building blocks that make every piece of content recognizably yours.
Logo. We create a full logo system, not just a single file. This typically includes light and dark mode versions, plus horizontal, vertical, and emblem-style variants. Each version is designed to work across different contexts: your website header, social media profiles, business cards, podcast thumbnails, and more.
Color palette. Our standard brand includes one to two main colors and one to two accent colors. These are defined with specific hex values so they stay consistent across every platform and medium.
Typography. We typically pair one display font for headings with one paragraph font for body text. We prefer sourcing from Google Fonts because they're free, universally supported across the web, and easy to implement across your website, emails, and other platforms.
After the messaging guide is complete, we extract any visual ideas, terminology, or themes that emerged during the message interview and begin shaping them into a visual direction.
We start with a mood board and inspiration gathering, often using a shared FigJam board where you can paste images, screenshots, or examples that capture the feel you're going for. We'll also generate initial brand directions and logo concepts as a starting point for feedback.
From there, we work through rounds of refinement. You'll review designs in Figma and leave comments on what's working and what needs adjustment. The goal is to arrive at a visual identity that feels like a natural extension of your messaging.
Your visual brand doesn't stop at a logo and colors. We build a design system in Figma that turns your brand elements into reusable templates and components. This system is what allows us to produce content quickly and consistently. When we create a social media graphic, an email campaign, or a podcast thumbnail, we're pulling from the same set of variables and templates, which means your brand stays cohesive without needing to reinvent the wheel each time.
If you need adjustments to your visual identity, such as new color variants, additional logo formats, or updated typography, submit a request through the support portal.
