If you choose to self-manage your website, we'll transfer everything we've built into your own workspace. The process depends on whether we delivered a design-only project or a fully developed site, and which platform your site is built on.
If we designed your website in Figma but you're handling development yourself (or with another team), we'll send you a .fig file of the finished design assets. No platform setup is required on our end.
There are two paths for Webflow sites:
Staying in the Snapmarket workspace. If you're happy to keep the site hosted in our workspace, we'll send you a recurring invoice and manage it on your behalf.
Transferring to your own workspace. If you'd like the site in your own Webflow account, you'll need a Webflow workspace. We'll initiate the site transfer to that email. Once you have the site, you'll want to disable subdomain indexing, enable auto-generated sitemap, set your form recipients, and remove the "Made in Webflow" branding. Then you're ready to publish.
For Framer sites, the process works like this:
Create a Framer workspace at framer.com if you don't have one already. Don't pay for a plan until the site is in your workspace.
We'll transfer the site into your workspace, either by you temporarily adding us to your workspace (recommended) or by sending you a remix link to duplicate the design.
Pay for the appropriate Framer plan (usually Pro) and connect your custom domain. If we've already configured your DNS, no further action is needed on that front.
For ongoing or recurring work, you can add our team to your workspace, which may involve additional paid seats.
Publish your site.
If your website has been managed in the Snapmarket workspace and is being moved to a separate one, the site will be temporarily offline during the transfer. The gap lasts until you receive the site, add a paid plan, reconnect your domain, and publish. We'll coordinate with you to minimize this window.
We're also happy to walk through the transfer process in real time. Just reach out through the support portal and we'll schedule a call.
Once your site is in your own workspace, you're in control. If you'd like training on how to manage content updates, make design changes, or handle CMS collections, we can provide that as part of the transition. And if you decide later that you'd like Snapmarket to manage things again, our Platform and Partner subscriptions include ongoing website management.
