A project engagement is a one-time or scoped piece of work with a defined deliverable. This could be a website build, a messaging guide, a brand identity, a pitch deck, or any other specific marketing asset. You get a shared project folder, access to the project dashboard for tracking progress, and all the communication and review processes described in our other guides.
Projects are ideal if you have a specific need but aren't yet ready for an ongoing marketing partnership.
Platform is a subscription that gives you seats on the publishing and platform tools in our marketing tech stack, plus some regular time for website maintenance and small fixes. Think of it as a publishing and maintenance layer.
Platform includes access to your website platform (Framer or Webflow), podcast recording (Descript Rooms), podcast syndication (Transistor), social media management (Ordinal), email/newsletter tools (Loops or equivalent), and event or community tools if applicable (like Luma or Circle).
The important distinction: Platform buys seats on the tools and light ongoing support. The content that flows through those tools, like podcast episodes, blog posts, or social campaigns, is scoped separately through individual projects or by upgrading to a Partner subscription.
A Partner subscription is our most comprehensive engagement. It includes everything in Platform, plus ongoing content production, strategic consulting, analytics and monthly reporting, market monitoring, a dedicated Slack channel, and the full scope of the Story.System.Send process working continuously on your behalf.
Partners invest a monthly subscription that covers these services. Work is tracked in weekly cycles, which ensures you get focused, high-quality attention without the team being spread too thin.
