Ordinal is the social media management platform Snapmarket uses to draft, plan, schedule, and publish your social media content. Depending on your engagement, you may interact with Ordinal directly as part of the content approval process.
Ordinal is a centralized dashboard for managing social media across multiple platforms and profiles. Your Snapmarket team uses it to create posts with copy and visuals, schedule them at optimal times, manage content calendars, publish to platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and X, and route content for your review and approval before it goes live.
If your engagement includes social media management, you may receive access to Ordinal to review and approve scheduled posts. How this works depends on your approval preferences:
Blocking approvals. Nothing publishes until you've reviewed and approved it in Ordinal. You'll receive a notification when content is ready for your review, and you can approve, request changes, or leave comments directly on each post.
Roll-with-it approvals. For routine content (like podcast promotions, thought leadership reposts, or standard branded content), the Snapmarket team publishes on your behalf without requiring individual approval. You can still log into Ordinal anytime to see what's scheduled and flag anything that needs adjustment.
Most clients use a hybrid approach: blocking approvals for sensitive or high-stakes content (announcements, campaigns, anything involving specific claims or data) and roll-with-it for the steady stream of regular content.
For clients with Webflow websites, Ordinal can also manage blog post publishing. When a blog is ready, it's queued in Ordinal and published to your website's CMS. The URL endpoint in Ordinal must match your Webflow blog template path for previews and links to work correctly. Your Snapmarket team handles this configuration.
If you need access to Ordinal or want to adjust your approval settings, reach out through the support portal. We'll set up your account and walk you through the interface. It's designed to be intuitive, and most clients find they can navigate it comfortably within a few minutes.
